Hey! My name is Britta Baros, I'm a 17-year-old early graduate student from San Antonio, Texas and I have an immense passion for photography, especially in sports. It all started as I was growing up when I would attend my older brother's football games and I would always see my mom carrying this camera in her hands, taking photos of him. I thought it was so interesting and I had always wanted to try it but I had no clue how to even work a camera at that time. Fast forward to when I started high school, I joined an Audio/Video Production Class. During the first week, I was assigned to shoot one of our high school football games. I still had no prior knowledge of cameras. However, something about the art you could create with them was what interested me and pushed me to learn more about them. Once I got the basics down and actually took my first-ever picture at that game, I instantly knew that it was something I wanted to pursue. After that game, my mom decided to hand down the same camera she used for my brother's football games to me and I still use that same camera to this day! Since then, I've been incredibly blessed to have had a range of opportunities to improve my skills as well as photographing various events. Looking forward, I want to keep progressing in my photography ability, telling stories with my photographs, and capturing the excitement and emotion of sports!
